Tonight, I will explore why girls are taught to compete with each other. Through the Barbie movie, I look at how girls learn to compare themselves through social media, school, expectations and the way we see other girls. I look at how jealousy, judgement and comparison can make us feel like another girl’s success makes our own success smaller.
